Tattoo FAQ's
COST
As of February 1st 2026 I am returning to charging hourly. While there was a lot of convenience this past year with the flat rate system, I found myself feeling rushed and working more to exhaustion. While it feels counter-intuitive under our currently economic crisis, I wish to slow down to a softer pace, allowing more time with each client in a slower, more intentional way.
Prices are as follows:
Minimum $150
Hourly Rate $180/hr (max 5 hours)
Full day sit 10am -5/6pm $1100 (must be booked in advance)
These prices include the design work put into your custom piece!
All services have an added 5% GST tax.
All services include time for waivers, stencilling, design discussion and breaks
I will gladly advise during the booking process if you’re unsure how much time you need to book
BOOKING & DESIGNS
First, thoroughly read through this FAQ page. Then, fill out the Booking Form located on the “booking” page (linked up top) Please note, booking is only available when my books are OPEN. Please visit the “booking” page for information on that or follow my business socials.
All consultations are done via email. My booking form is thorough and I can easily attain all needed details through email. In person or video consults can be arranged if necessary.
All bookings requires a deposit in order to secure your appointment. If a custom design is required for your appointment, this is included in the cost of your tattoo. (See more below in the deposit section)
I do not send previews of designs ahead of time. I usually only stay about a day ahead of appointments in regards to designs. This allows me to stay focused and energetically tuned into the next immediate work, as well as allows a healthier work-life balance. The design will be available at the time of your appointment to look over and any changes or edits requested can easily be done at that time. Sometimes I find a free hand approach is better or it may be a mix of stencil & freehand. In the case of freehanding, a design will not be prepared ahead of time. In the extremely rare case of being so far off the mark that large changes are required that I cannot complete at our appointment, we will re-book your appointment for a later date.
I am more than happy to replicate generic images (feathers, infinity symbols, etc) but any images received of custom tattoo work will only be considered a reference or inspiration. A new, unique and custom design will be redrawn specifically for you and your needs.
The same applies to designs you, your sister, your friend, or your cousin drew. I may use it as a reference, but I will not promise to copy it (there are absolutely sentimental exceptions to this statement however) Tattoo design is more than what looks good on paper. There is body flow, aesthetic, and technical properties that come into tattoo design work. I also have a specific style, and can not attempt to match someone elses. Seriously, I’ve tried. Stills comes off as a “Kya” haha I would imagine that if you are booking with me, it’s because you’re a fan of my work, no?
I am more than happy to replicate a doodle your child made, an image from a Visual Artist* (NOT tattoo artist) a parents handwriting, cartoon, etc then absolutely, it would be my pleasure to do this for you!!
*many modern non-tattoo artists now offer “tattoo tickets” in which you can send them a small fee in support of their art for a tattoo artist to immortalize on your body! In this case, I am more than happy to adorn you with your favourite artists work.
DEPOSITS .
All appointments require a deposit, no exception. A deposit is put in place to hold and secure your appointment. All deposits are non-refundable once given, no exceptions. They are put in place in case the client does not show up to their appointment or cancels, so the time put into designing and the work lost can be compensated for. The deposit comes off the total price of the tattoo ONCE it is finished. This means that if you have a large piece requiring multiple appointments, it will come off the price of the very last appointment once the whole piece is finished, no exceptions.
If you are needing to reschedule your appointment, there must be at least 72 hours notice in order to keep your deposit. Less than 72 hours results in a lost deposit, and your new appointment will require a new one. Deposits can be held for a max 6 months without a new appointment being scheduled. Of course there are emergencies in life, and these will be given exceptions. Deposits will be refunded if I am unable to fulfill our appointment from my end.
Deposits are due BEFORE booking an appointment. A deposit is the barrier to access available dates.
Deposits are an agreement for the project DISCUSSED. Should you change your mind of what you want prior to the appointment, you may lose your deposit and be required to put down a new one. **Showing up to a tattoo appointment with 15 minutes+ late, sunburnt, intoxicated or “physically unprepared” will result in the appointment canceled and deposit lost.
The price of a deposit ranges from $150-$250 depending on the size of the project
NO SHOWS
Failing to show up to your scheduled appointment will result in a loss of deposit. I will only wait up to 15 minutes without contact letting me know you are running late or otherwise and will result in a forfeit of your appointment. I will not follow up if you are a no show as it is each individuals responsibility to navigate their personal schedules.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if it is an honest mistake of forgetting or mis-scheduling your appointment. Please DO reach out to rebook! No ill feelings are held on to and I will be happy to reschedule you in, however a new deposit will still be required.
PAYMENT
Cash is the most preferred method of payment, but I also accept e-transfer and credit/debit tap.
Full payment owed for the work completed that day is due upon the ending of each appointment.

LOCATION & OTHER SHOP POLICIES
The address is 110 Van Horne St S. located in 5th Avenue Plaza, a small white strip mall located across from The Train Museum on the strip. My name is on the door, plants and crystals in the windows and rainbow sun-film on the front door. Our neighbours are Sidekick Sitckers to our right and the Métis Office to our left.
I will not tattoo individuals under the age of 18, expecting mothers or breast feeding mothers. I will not tattoo individuals under the influence of substance. A disrespectful or bigoted attitude is also a fast ticket out the door.
Numbing Cream: If you wish to use numbing cream for your appointment, that is your choice, your cost and your responsibility to follow the proper instructions ahead of your appointment. HOWEVER, due to the interfering nature of many numbing ointments, the use of numbing cream will void any free touch ups and you will be required to pay for touch ups if it is needed.
Touch Ups: I offer one free touch up within a year after the initial appointment, any later and it will require payment. If the touch up is needed due to lack of care, scratching, swimming, sun, etc, it will require payment. Any “hard to heal” areas will not get free touch ups (hands, fingers, feet, etc)
ACCESSIBILITY
My tattooing space is accessible to all bodies and mobility accessories. However, the buildings shared bathrooms may not be accessible for a wheelchair. We have not yet had someone try, but there are tight corners and make me assume it may not be chair accessible.
My table is rated for up to 400lbs. If the Earthly vessel you reside in exceeds that number, please let me know ahead of time and I will make accommodations to ensure your comfort and safety.
Incense, herbs, and essential oils are regularly burned in the shop. Outside of our disinfecting supplies, we avoid the use of synthetic fragrance, but If the natural scents poses a problem for you, please let me know ahead of time
I always try to play an eclectic mix of music or lean into the calmer styles of music. Otherwise, the studio is on the quieter side of tattoo shops on regular days
If you require any additional support (physical, mental or emotional) please do not hesitate to speak your needs ahead of your appointment, and I will do my best to accommodate your support needs!
